GHD Foundation joins partnership with GO Foundation, supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Education Scholarships
GHD Foundation joined forces with GO Foundation for scholarships supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people through to 2026. GHD’s Indigenous Services team and Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) champions started the journey with GO in 2016 with the GHD Foundation now supporting the expansion of the partnership.*
The GO Program “Empowers through Education” with its holistic scholarship program. GO students are active in several Culture Connect Days each year to build their connection to culture and self-identity. The wrap around support includes access to work experience and internship opportunities through partners such as GHD and CareerTrackers; 24/7 online tutor support through GO Partner, Studiosity. In addition, GO students can purchase the essentials needed for education such as laptop, Wi-Fi, uniforms and excursions with their scholarship funds.
GO Foundation CEO, Charlene Davison says “The GO Foundation is incredibly proud of our partnership with GHD and the strong relationship we have built with the team over the years. The organisation understands the importance of culture at the heart of the GO Program and we are fortunate to partner with those who share in our core values. We are excited that this renewed partnership with GHD Group and GHD Foundation will provide expanded opportunities for young people taking part in the GO Program to engage in broader STEAM areas”.
GHD’s Indigenous Services team and RAP champions will continue to partner with GO Foundation by volunteering, providing technical services, corporate mentoring, student events, fundraising and work experience.
