Communities are facing increasingly complex challenges driven by technological, environmental and social change. Yet persistent social, geographic, cultural and economic barriers continue to limit equitable access to STEAM education, networks and career pathways, reducing opportunities for many young people and widening the gap between the challenges communities need solved and the diverse talent needed to solve them.

The GHD Foundation helps remove barriers to STEAM education, employment pathways and youth empowerment initiatives to help more young people access, participate in and succeed in future-focused careers. Through strategic partnerships, evidence-based investment and the capabilities of Principal Partner GHD, the Foundation supports pathways from the early years engagement through to workforce participationlong-term employment, building individual opportunity and strengthening community resilience.

The GHD Foundation focuses on Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (STEAM) education equity because equitable access to STEAM learning and career pathways is a powerful lever for addressing disadvantage, building future-ready skills, and expanding opportunities for young people. As technological, environmental and social challenges become more complex, the Foundation believes a diverse and inclusive STEAM workforce is essential to creating stronger communities and better solutions for the future.
